“Spring, Spring, Spring!” sang the frog.
“Spring!” said the groundhog.
“Spring, Spring, Spring!” sang the robin.
It was Spring.
The leaves burst out.
The flowers burst out.
And robins burst out of their eggs.
It was Spring.

We are still very happy about the arrival of spring, and the weather just keeps getting springier and springier! Crocuses and daffodils are blooming, the grass is starting to turn green, people can be seen out walking at every time of the day, the sun is shining and the birds are singing! Lewis is absolutely loving everything about being outside from dirt and mud and sticks to finally having other kids around to play with. We have been spending as much time as possible outside. As usual my housework has suffered as a result, but I always seem to find some reason not to keep up with all that pesky cooking and cleaning. 😉
Cooking waffles with my little helper.
First trip to the park for the year! Little Boy Blue sitting on a train car to eat his snack.
He’s gotten much braver since last year! Riding solo on the see-saw thinging.
Up in the spider’s web. He can climb part way up himself now, but wishes he could climb to the top!
Seed planting with Daddy.
Snuggled up for some evening game time on Daddy’s 3ds.
Out in his mud lab. He loves mixing up concoctions of “ooze pie” and “coffee water” for Mommy to sample.
First hike behind the library. Still very dry and brown but I’m sure some lovely greens will start showing up soon!
We had a lovely outing to Starbucks this week. Lewis enjoyed the cake pop he chose, and then thought it was hilarious that he could tip his water bottle flat on its side to drink.
Bread baking this morning. He really gets the concept of folding and squishing the bread to knead it, but would much rather just pinch off pieces of dough to taste!
