Fun At The Park

Despite living in a lovely area with a lot of things in walking distance (doctor, post office, CVS, grocery store, library, town hall) for some reason there are not really any parks that we can walk to. Because of this and the fact that we always seem “busy” on the weekend, we had yet to take him to a park to play. So this weekend we decided it was about time to go to a park!

There are a lot of parks around that we can drive to, and not having been to any of them it was a bit of a shot in the dark to choose which one to go to. We finally decided based on a park I remembered hearing mentioned by one of the mom’s at the library. It was a great choice! A nice small park with a fun playground and not at all crowded. There was one family just leaving as we got there and three other families showed up while we were playing, but that was it.

So, pictures!

Fun tunnel. This was part of a line-up of different train-cars. The train engine had wide easy-to-climb stairs and a little slide.

This rope climbing structure was his favorite thing. He kept bringing us back over to look at it and try to "figure it out."

Crazy criss-crossed see-saw thing. (And note the awesome traffic barrel in the background!)

We had a lot of fun and will definitely plan on going back to this park!
